SYNOPSIS

Early 70’s in a small secluded Andalusian village. Deep tensions are reignited in the wake of the death of the elderly matriarch, Maria Cisneros, and the arrival of her long-gone son. As the struggling sisters prepare the funeral, a black stain involving the local priest re-surfaces. Facing the threat of destitution, exile, and rejection by neighbors, family power dynamics implode to a tragic end.
